THIS FILTER WILL NOT DETECT OR REACT IN WATER IN ETHANOL-BLENDED GASOLINE. (A reaction known as phase separation)
  • PetroClear® Filter Model 40510WA provides effective removal of 10 micron (nominal) particles and detects free and emulsified water in pure gasoline and diesel fuels.
  • PetroClear® Filter Model 40530WA provides effective removal of particles down to 30 microns (nominal) and detects both free and emulsified water in pure gasoline and diesel fuels.
  • Does not detect phase separation in ethanol blended fuels.
