• PetroClear® Models 40505W-AD, 40510W-AD and 40530W-AD are spin-on particulate removal and water sensing filters designed to remove particulates and detect free and emulsified water from pure gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel), kerosene and heating oils.
• PetroClear® models 40505W-AD, 40510W-AD and 40530W-AD are spin-on filters with particle and water detection. These filters are designed to detect water , both free and emulsified, and slow flow as an indicator of the presence of water in clean gasoline and diesel fuels. This filter will not detect or react to water in the gasoline mixed with ethanol. (Reaction known as phase separation)
• PetroClear® Filter Model 40505W-AD provides effective removal of 5 micron (nominal) particles and detects free and emulsified water in pure gasoline and diesel fuels.
• The PetroClear® Filter Model 40510W-AD provides efficient removal of particles as small as 10 microns (nominal) and detects both free and emulsified water in pure gasoline and diesel fuels.
• PetroClear® Filter Model 40530W-AD provides effective removal of particles down to 30 microns (nominal) and detects free and emulsified water in pure gasoline and diesel fuels.
• Does not detect phase separation in ethanol blended fuels.
