• PetroClear® Models 40910WA and 40930WA are spin-on particulate removal and water detection filters designed to remove particulates and detect free and emulsified water from pure gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, ULSD (ultra low sulfur diesel), kerosene and fuel oils.
• The PetroClear® models 40910WA and 40930WA are spin-on filters with particle and water detection. These filters are designed to detect water, both free and emulsified, and slow flow as an indicator of the presence of water in clean gasoline and diesel fuels. This filter will not detect or react to water in ethanol blended gasoline. (Reaction known as phase separation)
• PetroClear® Filter Model 40910WA provides effective removal of particles as small as 10 microns (nominal) and detects free and emulsified water.
• The PetroClear® Filter Model 40930WA provides effective removal of particles as small as 30 microns (nominal) and detects both free and emulsified water in pure gasoline.
• Does not detect phase separation in ethanol blended fuels.
• Compatible with biodiesel, kerosene, heating oil, ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) and diesel fuels.
• Textured paint coating helps ensure a simple, mess-free installation and removal process.

• Will not detect phase separation in Ethanol blended fuels.
• Compatible with Biodiesel.
• The water-sensing filter is not a fool-proof mechanical positive shut-off. If this filter remains in service after going into slow flow it can return to full flow, allowing contaminated fuel to be dispensed into the consumer's vehicle and cause potential damage.
